Sttripnjak #3 zine is under construction!

Deadline is - September 15 2015

- So, it's easy. Just send us your short comic (complete story. It can be part of some serial but story need to stand like one shot).
- It can be published but not in "our languages" (see description below).
- You'll be asked to re-letter it with translation you will get if you get in the issue (see description below and panel samples how that works).

Generally we are looking for original, out of any scene comics, abstract comics, poetry comics or any weird narrative graphics. Nudity, sex or "provocative" stuff are welcomed as long as they are not banal hate propaganda (but we can even consider that, if it's good material).

You can submit short comics between 4 - 8 pages B&W/grayscale (complete story unpublished in Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian or Montenegrin).

The format of the zine is A5 (148mm X 210mm) you can send any format that can be scaled nicely to A5 without loosing visibility of words and such.

Language of publication: Bosnian (and Serbian, Croatian and Montenegrin) language. 
You can submit your comic (if you don't use any of mentioned) in: English, Norwegian, German, French or Italian.
Our team will translate it specially for the zine publication.
Than it will be digital or hand lettered by us or you.

We can not pay to contributors but they will receive two artist copies.

Also, zine will have free digital editions too. Check out the previous issues so you can get some basic feeling what we like but also feel free to surprise us and contact us for more details.

We had beautiful exhibition and talk on Pag island and meanwhile in Sarajevo Stripnjak was part of great alternative comics travel exhibition ComiXconnection.

Stripnjačenje uz novi - Stripnjak Zine #2!!!

Evo i novi zin je spreman za ljetnu razonodu i perverzije. Preporuča se čitanje noću uz mjesečinu, po mogućnosti na groblju.

Predstavljamo novu publikaciju u vidu fanzina na bosanskom/srpskom/hrvatskom jeziku sa stripovima domaćih i stranih autora. Fanzin je osmislio, uredio i dizajnirao Kostja Ribnik koji je uz nekoliko kratkih kolumni i autor kratke stripovane uvodničke riječi i novinarskog stripa gdje predstavlja jednog od sudionika ovoga izdanja.

Stripnjak #1 autori: Nicola Vinciguerra (Italija), Aleksander Ćurić (Srbija), Svaig (Hrvatska), Ella Gall (BiH), Paul Jeter (SAD), Robert Clemmons jr. (SAD), Aaron Norhanian (SAD)

Jedna od zanimljivosti ovoga fanzina je da su autori stripova koji su originalno bili na stranom jeziku sami (uglavnom ručno) unosili prevedeni tekst a dva su (u dogovoru sa autorima) adaptirana na neke od domaćih lokalizama. Tako je jedna suluda mornarska priča "The Black Death" dobila svoju dalmatinsku adaptaciju a priča o jednoj pričljivoj teti iz njujorškog autobusa "Q44" čaršijizirana na neki lagano krkanski sarajevski.

Anyway, there are 3 days left 'till the end of this crazy month, this fucking February madness and deadline for the Stripnjak #1 publication!

I just needed to share my happiness about some great submissions, so thank YOU!

Plans & news for 2015

After small summer/fall ball rampampampam break we are back to our little Stripnjak project. We are preparing some new releases and finally our #1 Stripnjak Zine. Stay tuned.

Submissions

Temporary we are open for minicomics and short comics (for the zine) submissions. 

For both we are looking for original, out of any scene comics, abstract comics or any weird narrative graphics. Nudity or "provocative" stuff are welcomed as long as they are not hate propaganda.

Our minicomics are in A5 format, B&W, color cover, between 10 - 30 pages.

Our zine is under construction. Deadline is more or less around end of February 2015. You can submit short comics between 2 - 8 pages B&W (complete story). It will be A5 format in Bosnian (or Serbian, Croatian and Montenegrin) language. You can submit it in your local language (if you don't use any of mentioned) and our team will translate it and depending on your choice, will be digital or hand lettered by us or you.
